Bronx COMMENCEMENT for a top STEM school
Rhonda Vetere delivered the 2019 commencement address to students, family, and faculty at the 8th grade commencement ceremony for the School of Mathematics, Science And Technology Through Arts (I.S. 318) in Bronx, NY.
Her message to students prepares them for a future in a world driven by digital and technological innovation.

In addition to signing new copies, Rhonda also met people who had read Grit & Grind and came to tell her how it's impacted them, like Jessica S. – when Rhonda signed her book, Jessica cried and said that Grit & Grind helped her quit her job and change her life.
For the launch of their new Macan, Porsche invited Rhonda to come and give 20 signed copies to test drivers.
NYC Year Up
Rhonda spoke to 140 students at Year Up New York, giving them advice on how to overcome obstacles and succeed in corporate settings.
Year Up New York is a one-year, intensive training program that provides under-served young adults, ages 18-24, with a combination of hands-on skills development, coursework eligible for college credit, corporate internships, and wraparound support.
Rhonda was the Keynote Speaker at The Digital Enterprise Transformation East Assembly at The Ballantyne Hotel in Charlotte, NC from March 19-20, 2019.
In her keynote, Rhonda ignited energy and enthusiasm, urging executives to put down the phone and have more human interaction.
The Millennium Alliance is an invitation-only organization for Senior-Level Executives and Business Transformers.
On February 28, just prior to the book’s release on March 5, Rhonda hosted a prerelease celebration at The Columbus Citizens Foundation. A beautiful 19th century Italianate townhouse, the foundation goes hand in hand with Rhonda’s Italian heritage.
The event featured her extended personal and professional network, with guests from Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, India, London, Africa, Mexico, and across the United States joining Rhonda’s local New York City community.
A few toasts & tributes were made to Rhonda and the book by her colleague JP Rosato, friend General James Cartwright, and two Team USA athletes, Veronica Day and Sasha Cohen. Chris Martin of Randstad presented Rhonda with the Human Forward award.
